Himalayan Fusion

We made the long trek downtown to try this pan-Indian buffet, which "fuses" Tibetan, Nepalese, and Indian food. The buffet was fairly conventional fare; I didn't detect much fusion. The staff was having a hard time keeping the buffet stocked; the naan basket was empty for much of our stay. Overall, it was decreed not worth the drive.

Brasserie

This is our second visit to Le Brasserie. The first time we went (with little J) everything was delicious. The Eggs Benedict was really well done, the roast beef sandwich was really good and the fries were perfect. This time...not so good. N's Eggs Benedict was almost inedible thanks to the ridiculous amount of sauce, J didn't finish his two burgers and J's fries were really hot but undercooked. They seem to suffer from the same inconsistency problem that Cocina Del Sol has. I don't know that we'll be back...

The awkward waiter was not there, N's food was really good but she could have just been really hungry!

Cafe LaJoi

Uhhhh, this is really a lot like Baggby's. They have the bags and the big chalkboard menus. They even give you the little cookies with your meal (which are delicious by the way).
